The Phoenix Magazine

Free New Patient Resource

The United Ostomy Association of America has made new ostomy patient magazines available free of charge for new ostomy or continent diversion patients. Published by The Phoenix magazine, there are four versions for each type of surgery (see below).

Each issue answers many questions that ostomy patients have after surgery such as pouch management, choosing an ostomy pouch (bag), peristomal skin care and adjusting to life with an ostomy. The resources are available free of charge.

To order, please e-mail the UOAA and use "New Patient Resource" for the subject and include which version you would like or call 800-826-0826.
